My youngest daughter Annie was born with Down syndrome. So when a parent tells me they're nervous about bringing their special needs child to the dentist, I'm not just nodding along, I understand what that feels like from the other side. I know what it's like to wonder whether a practice is truly set up for your child, or whether you'll spend the whole appointment managing everyone else's discomfort.

We built this practice to be genuinely ready for kids like Annie. Not as an afterthought, and not just with good intentions. With the training, the patience, and the approach to make it work.

We See Kids Across the Full Spectrum of Needs

Down syndrome, autism, sensory processing disorders, cerebral palsy, anxiety, behavioral challenges, physical disabilities, we've worked with all of it. Every child is different, and we don't assume that what worked last time will work this time. We adjust our approach visit by visit, child by child.

If your child has had a hard time at the dentist before, whether that means shutting down, melting down, or just never being able to get through a full exam, that's not a reason to avoid coming in. It's exactly the reason to call us.

We never push a child further than they're ready to go. Sometimes that means a first visit is just a ride in the chair and a high five. That's fine. We'd rather build trust slowly than force a procedure and set your child back months.

Parents are in the room and in the conversation every step of the way. You know your child better than anyone, their triggers, their comfort objects, the things that help and the things that don't. We want that information, and we'll use it.

When treatment does become necessary, we'll walk you through every option clearly. We lean toward the most conservative approach that gets the job done, and we'll never recommend sedation or general anesthesia without a real conversation about why and what to expect.

For many families, the hardest part isn't the dental visit,  it's getting through brushing every night. We spend real time on this. We'll show you techniques, tools, and workarounds that actually fit your child's specific challenges, so that home care becomes something you can manage rather than something you dread.
